Kitazawa currently bases his practice at Tempat KITA—“our place”—a space of the collective KITA, of which he is also a founding member, located in Bantul–Sewon, Yogyakarta. Through his activities in this space, where individually driven projects and artistic production intersect with exhibitions and events organized by the collective, he explores the ways in which individuals and groups, art and society, can relate to one another.

At the end of 2018, I moved to Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The space I rent has a small garden and a star fruits tree. At January  2019, I set up a new base “Studio Belimbing”. Belimbing means star fruits by Indonesian language.
